The Balkaners The Balkaners are a new band out of Chicago. The members include Tim Kelley and
Christa Meyer (Puerto Muerto), Jamie Carter (Judson Claiborne) and Jonny Furman (The Cells). The band incorporates elements
of punk rock, Brit-pop, and vintage metal to create a truly unique sound. The lead singer, Christa Meyer utilizes her dramatic
flair and operatically trained voice to rile up crowds while the rest of the band happily goes along for the ride. The band
is currently recording their debut album at Carterco Studio and plan to have it released by late summer.
Onono
Hi, we are Onono, a new band from Chicago.
We play dramatic pop/prog/rock-type music. Onono is heavy on keyboards and melodic bass rhythms with all female vocal harmonies.
The group’s musical influences are numerous and varied: Blonde Redhead, Stereolab, Yes, Sixties Pop, Black Sabbath and
Françoise Hardy, in no particular order.
Caroline Nutley, the lead singer and keyboard player has worked with the drummer, John Goodwin, for many years. Together
they were two of the founding members of the now defunct Chicago band, Danger Adventure (2000-2006). DA released an album,
The Pomegranate, on the Barcelona based independent label Fork Series, and subsequently went abroad to tour Spain. Orion Layon,
Onono’s bassist, contributed to Danger Adventure from 2004 to 2006 and joined the group for several mid-west and
east coast tours including a trip to Pop Montreal in 2005. Recently, these three found themselves writing music with each
other once again. Onono’s line-up was completed with the addition of Ellen Layton, keyboardist and singer, who
adds depth and texture to Onono’s dramatic sound.

Host Born in London and tempered on Chicago's
South Side, Gary Airdale brings his special brand Rock and Roll to you once a month at The Flesh Hungry Dog Show. Mr.
Airedale knew he was destined for a career in rock and roll when at the age of ten he was suspended from school for tossing
the record player out the window in 4th grade music class exclaiming "THIS IS BULLSHIT" when the music teacher attemped
to play Neil Diamond.

DJ SKY
DJ Sky cut her teeth
working as an on air personality in alternative radio and spinning vinyl in various clubs across the US
during the early 80’s. When she returned to Chicago
in 1986 she quickly rose to the top of the punk/alternative scene throwing down her eclectic mix of propulsive punk, funk,
R&B, pop, rock, electric and dance music at legendary Chicago venues: Club Dreamerz, The
Octagon, The Lizard Lounge, Lower Links, Crash Palace, Exit. More recently, she's laid down tracks at The Hide Out
and Jackhammer. DJ Sky has also served as the Mad Mix-tress behind the tables
for VIP parties for Reeling: The Chicago Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, EstroJam and is one of the creative founders
behind OzBeat Music.
